Cool to cold weather in dry conditions where warmth and wind protection are key. Cool to cold weather for primarily dry conditions but capable of warding off the passing shower and road spray. Wet conditions or as a windproof layer on cooler days. Excellent versatility due to its light weight and packability. Cool, dry conditions or when the weather is variable and calls for light weight wind protection without the added bulk of thermal layers. Cool starts or long descents when added wind protection is essential without adding weight or stowing any bulk. The ideal emergency layer.
