As a general rule of thumb, all of our bib shorts are designed to be as close to the same length as possible. Different fabrics have different fits and elasticity so this is not always an exact science. As a baseline, however, our Women's bib shorts are 22cm (8.7") from the center crotch to the leg gripper in size M, with +/- 1.5cm (0.6") per size grading. Our Men's bib shorts are 25.5cm (10") in size M, with +/- 1.5cm (0.6") per size grading.

Speaking of our current product line, our Signature jersey is the least compressive fit and has a lot of stretch and flexibility. Our SE is more compressive than the Signature in the sleeves, but will feel similar otherwise. The Ultralight is our most compressive and supportive fit. Our Radiator Mesh jersey is similar to our Ultralight, but less compressive through the torso/stomach area given the Radiator fabric. All of our jerseys are intended to be a tight/tailored fit to minimize extra material. This has several benefits, including muscle support, minimal chaffing, and improved breathability and wicking.

Our jersey sizing is unique in that it is graded differently per size as the size spread out from the middle sizes. This means that we don't have the same increment jump between sizes, and some aspects of the jersey, such as length and sleeve, are adjusted independently versus the more traditional universal size jump. All of our jersey models are intended to fit the same in each size. That does vary given different fabrics have a different feel and elasticity, so the measurements aren't the same for each jersey we make. We highly recommend following our sizing chart or shopping at one of our retailers to find your preferred size and fit.

All of our bib shorts are intended to fit the same size across our range, meaning if you wear as size L in our Signature Bib Shorts, you will also likely find the size L to be the best fit in our other bib shorts. In terms of fit, the main difference is the amount of compression each bib short offers. LUXE is our most compressive, followed by CONCEPT. We hear often that these two look quite small and take a bit of effort to get on - trust us when we say it's effort well spent. Signature is what we'd call medium compression - still higher than most other brands, but not as compressive as the two mentioned above. Foundation is very similar to Signature. And Ultralight is the least compressive, primarily due to the ultralight weight fabric.

Our vests are patterned in the riding position, with a tighter fit across the chest and an arm opening with a more forward position. This is intentional to reduce flapping and extra fabric across the chest while riding. When standing, the vest will feel tight across the chest and torso. The intended fit is tailored without extra fabric to flap around - it should fit tight over your jersey (with enough room for a long sleeve and base layer), but shouldn’t appear baggy. We select fabrics that have some elasticity to allow for freedom of movement even with a tailored fit to accommodate some range of fit within each size.

Unlike many other brands, we’ve developed our own patterns and fit from the ground up based on our own testing and feedback. Our fit is intended to be tailored and sleek fitting, akin to what you might hear as “race fit” or “euro fit”. It’s important to keep in mind that all of our patterns are developed and shaped around the position on the bike, not standing, so when you first put a piece of Velocio apparel on, it will pull or feel tight in certain directions, such as across the front of your shoulders, or along the length of the bib straps while standing. This is all considered as we feel that a better garment for cycling needs to fit for cycling. This is also why it’s not possible to compare measurements from other brands to match your size. We’ve developed our size chart around this intended fit and positioning and recommend referring to these charts when selecting your size. We’ve developed several chamois for our line that are proprietary to Velocio. These have been developed over years of testing and feedback to be the most comfortable and supportive available for any distance or type of riding. Our Signature chamois has been refined since our launch and the latest iteration is a dual-density pad, incorporating an anti-vibration super high density layer with a supportive high density layer to create all-day comfort and support. It’s available in mens and women’s specific versions in our LUXE, Signature and (Men’s) Ultralight bib shorts. Our Women’s Ultralight bib shorts use a variation of the Signature pad that uses the same construction, but a slightly narrower shape through the middle for a slimmer form factor. Our CONCEPT bib shorts have our proprietary fully-integrated chamois. This innovative design is comprised of a multi-density padding that is attached to the short by a highly elastic liner, creating a floating pad that conforms to every movement with minimal bulk and allows for a uniquely free pedaling motion. Lastly, our Foundation bib short uses a paired back version of our Signature pad with a single high-density foam and recycled top fabric, creating a great mid-distance pad with medium support and slimmer form factor. Our LUXE, Signature, Ultralight and CONCEPT bib shorts are all designed to maintain comfort and support for the longest days, yet all can work for any length ride. Our Foundation bib shorts are intended for shorter to middle-distance rides (aka the lunch ride) where high level support isn’t as critical. The main differences between our bib shorts are more related to compression, support, and temperature range. Much like any piece of performance cycling gear, investing in high quality pieces will improve the experience of your ride and last longer than the less expensive options available.

The latest iteration of our Rain Jacket is designed to be ultralight and ultra packable and can be rolled up to fit into a jersey pocket, yet still provide total protection to wet weather. Flyfree is a proprietary design that uses careful patterning and materials to create a highly elastic bib upper and back panel to allow for nature breaks without removing jersey, helmet, etc. To work, the straps and back panel have enough stretch to allow you to pull them down and over your bottom as you crouch down. It’s a down and forward movement that doesn’t require removing any clothing and doesn’t have any clasps, secret panels or magic tricks. The innovation lies in its simplicity and it’s been tested over many years and thousands of times to ensure that they won’t wear out or lose their shape over time. Orders placed on our US site ship from New Hampshire, USA. 

We have two shipping method options in the US:

- USPS Priority (Free on orders over $100): Delivery time to the east coast is generally 1-2 days using this method.  Delivery to the west coast is generally 2-4 days.

- USPS Express: Orders will arrive within 1-2 days nationwide

In Canada & Mexico we offer USPS Express:

For orders shipping to the rest of the world, we offer FedEx International Priority:

Orders placed on our AU, EU or INTL sites will ship via DHL from our Waterford, Ireland location:

We do not include return labels in our packages. However, you can process returns easily through our Return Center using the email address provided at checkout and your order number. The Return Center will walk you through the return process and issue a return label for you. To start a return, please visit: returns.velocio.cc 
If you checked out as a guest you will still be able to make returns via the site using the email you used during checkout.

Please be careful when opening your beautiful new gear. Scissors are not required! However, we realize accidents do happen and we want to make sure you're happy with your new purchase. Please email us at service@velocio.cc and we will assist you.

We have found that USPS delivery notifications often appear prematurely. Please allow 24 hours and if your package hasn’t arrived yet, please email us at service@velocio.cc and we will help you track it down.

This depends on the size of your order.  If it is just a jersey or a pair of bibs it will generally fit. However most packages with more than one item will be too big to fit through a mail slot and will be left on the doorstep when delivered.

For regulatory reasons, we cannot declare packages under value to reduce customs duties. For any inquiries about customs or import duties please email us at service@velocio.cc.

US Customers:

You can initiate a return/exchange via our Returns Center (https://returns.velocio.cc) using the email provided at checkout. You will be prompted through the process step by step and will be issued a return label for your items.  If you have any trouble with this process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to service@velocio.cc

EU, AU, or INTL Customers: Ship the item back to our fulfillment center (address below) and include a note with your name and order number.  Once you ship the item email service@velocio.cc with the tracking information and let us know if you would you like another size, item, store credit, or just a refund and we will get that processed for you right away.

When you initiate a return via our Returns Center (returns.velocio.cc ) you will be issued Instant Funds in the form of a gift card code. These instant funds are issued to allow you purchase another item or size immediately.  If the Instant Funds code isn’t used before your item is received at our fulfillment center then your original method of payment is refunded and this Instant Funds code is disabled. If you only use part of your Instant Funds code, the unused balance will be refunded.

All of our clothing is backed by our Signature Guarantee which allows you to try an item for up to 30 days.  If after a few uses you realize it isn’t quite right or you’d like to try another size, reach out to service@velocio.cc and we can assist you. However, we pride ourselves in being as environmentally friendly as possible, so as often as you can we ask that you try to leave the tags on while checking fit and sizing and whenever possible please return items to us unused and in their original packing so that they can be restocked. Any items returned to us must be clean, as we will do our very best to donate any worn apparel to a good cause.

Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Final sale items are not eligible for a refund, however if you reach out to service@velocio.cc we can help you return the item for a store credit or exchange sizes when possible.  If you have any trouble returning non-Final Sale items, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we will assist you.

We do offer a crash replacement discount and a repair service.  To inquire about these options please message service@velocio.cc and include a description of the item and a photo of the damaged area when possible.

Soaking jerseys using oxyclean before washing can help remove set in stains.

On each product page you will find a “notify me when in stock” option when out of stock items are selected. Here you can enter your email we will notify you automatically when the item is restocked.  Keep in mind that many of our seasonal offerings are limited edition colors and prints and will not be restocked. Feel free to reach out to service@velocio.cc and we can give you more specific details about the items you are looking for. We can also suggest contacting your local Velocio retailer to see if they have the item available.

Gift cards will be sent to you via email.  They will contain a code that can be forwarded to the person you are gifting it to.
